The U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC) is a non-profit, independent membership organization that represents the global trade interests of U.S. dairy producers, ingredient suppliers, and export traders. USDEC wanted to create a video to help raise global awareness of the innovative use of its ingredients in localized applications around the world, not just Westernized applications—ultimately generating international excitement for exploring the many opportunities for innovation with U.S. dairy ingredients.
Specific goals included:
- B2B (e.g., importers, distributors, and food and beverage manufacturers): Showcase the value of USDEC’s global marketing programs as an innovative partner to B2B customers to spur and support use of U.S. dairy ingredients in local-friendly applications around the world.
- USDEC members and farmers: Highlight how USDEC’s global marketing programs deliver value by driving innovation that contributes to export growth.
Novak Birch wrote, designed, and animated an engaging and informative, sizzle reel style video that showcases the endless global potential for innovation with U.S. dairy ingredients. Opening with a passport that collects stamps along the way, the dynamic animated video travels the globe, highlighting eight regions and featuring local dishes in each that use U.S. dairy ingredients.
With beautiful photography of cuisine, iconography representing the diverse food categories, and inspiring “people pictures” and U.S. imagery, the video—and its uplifting soundtrack—generates excitement while informing viewers of the many opportunities available for ingredient innovation as well as workshops, networking events, and trade shows.
